Mission Statement

Long established and located in the heart of Lower Broughton, we aim to be an innovative and caring GP practice, offering a comprehensive patient centred service.

We work within the framework of NHS Primary Care Services to provide professional care which delivers excellence in all areas for patients, carers and families.

By utilising our highly experienced staff and their specialist expertise, of which we have over 200 years of collective experience, we promote best practice and endeavour to build and maintain effective relationships with our patients. We foster an environment of respect, valuing each patient as an individual affording them courtesy and treating them with dignity at all times. We strive to be especially supportive to the vulnerable.

Integrity is at the core of our values; conveying compassion in both word and action is extremely important as is involving patients in decisions, supporting and empowering them to improve and maintain their health.

We seek to secure year on year improvements in patient care to minimise error and reduce morbidity. We recognise that mistakes are sometimes made but endeavour to learn from them and promote a ‘no blame’ culture within the Practice. We nurture an environment that is both forward looking and adaptable, building on our achievements and developing existing services. All members of the practice team are encouraged to further their continuous professional development and attend training courses throughout the year.

A recent merge between Dr Chaudhry/Dr Jeet’s and Dr Vardon’s practices has allowed us to offer patients a greater choice of clinicians and make better use of resources, utilising staff more efficiently. Both practices have operated from the same site for a number of years and already have great synergy thus we hope to build and expand on this.

As we move forward we seek to be a more sustainable practice. We consider we have a duty of responsibility to consider our impact on the environment. We will endeavour to minimise this impact by reducing waste and utilising low energy usage options where feasible.

Finally, we place great value in patient feedback and openly welcome any comments or suggestions that may help us to enhance the service we provide.
